Looks Like We Made It

8:45 pm

Wow. What a long day. Just got back to our room, but Lauri is still pretty zonked. She ate 2 whole ice chips!

She seems to be coming around though.

I'm happy to see her free of any significant pain...so far anyway. She was so nervous about the pain, ...and the drains, and at least that seems to be better than expected.

She always seems to wake up with some crazy statement. Today she thought she was a patientbin the Camp Coleman health clinic. At least this time she wasn't critical of my cooking. Or lack thereof.

If anyone wants to visit tomorrow, just shoot me an email or text first. I'd like to make sure she doesn't puke on you.

Thanks again for all the well wishes and good vibes.

David
